American Chinese Academy (ACA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

ACA is dedicated to advancing innovation, cross-cultural collaboration, and technology-driven development. Building on its roots in Chinese language and cultural education, ACA now focuses on empowering individuals and communities through training, applied technology, and product development that address real-world challenges.

ACA has received federal grants to provide elementary to high school students with free Chinese language summer camps and provide graduate students with internship opportunities.  

ACA has also received grants from private foundation to conduct research related to special education students.  The research combines music education with psychology consulting to improve students’ learning ability.

ACA is a President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) certifying organization, and administers the PVSA to volunteers.
