Hey, I'm Jonathan.

Growing up I never liked school, never saw any point in dull class-times and constant home-work. And none of that has changed, formal education isn't my cup of tea. I don't want to waste time doing something I don't enjoy doing, life's too short for that. After studying graphic design at a university in Warsaw, Poland for a year I returned to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; determined to make a living for myself without spending four years listening to lectures. And without spending a fortune to do so. Instead, I began to invest my time and energy on building marketable skills by making use of the mass of freely available information we enjoy in this modern age. One of these skills, I decided, would be Touch Typing and Transcription.

So I found something I enjoy doing, and I practiced it for months until I had it mastered. Despite my disdain for formal education, I like learning about random things and I live everyday to discover something new. And what better way to do that than to listen to various people tell their stories and to help them record it in the process.
