Monthly conversations are open to all approved members and are held on the third Tuesday of each month via Zoom. Once your membership is approved, you will receive the meeting links and are welcome to attend any meetings you prefer.
The Zoom meetings begin with a local land acknowledgement delivered by an ABWIL member, with the aim of achieving province-wide representation throughout the year.
The Steering Committee leads the meetings, and each member facilitates a specific topic that spans over two months:
The first month features a panel discussion in which invited guests share their personal experiences, best practices, and recommendations.
The second month continues the conversation with breakout room meetings for small groups, using the same questions as the original panel.
In August 2025, the Steering Committee held a general meeting to brainstorm and poll current ABWIL members on potential discussion topics for the 2025-2026 academic year.
