Terms & Conditions – SeifGuard

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SeifGuard mobile application (“the App”), owned and operated by:

By installing, accessing, or using SeifGuard, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall and discontinue using the App.

1. Use of the App

SeifGuard is a safety and self-control assistance tool designed to help users block selected apps or websites, perform lucidity tests, and optionally create a parent–child monitoring connection.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and with all applicable local, national, or international laws.

2. Eligibility

To use SeifGuard, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old, or
  
  

• Use the App under parental or guardian supervision.
  
  

Parent Mode may only be activated by an adult who has legal guardianship over the child.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree that:

• You are responsible for selecting which apps or websites should be blocked.
  
  

• You will not attempt to bypass or disable the App’s protection mechanisms.
  
  

• You understand that SeifGuard requires certain device permissions (such as Accessibility) to function properly.
  
  

• You are solely responsible for all activities that occur on your device.
  
  

4. Permissions

To deliver core features, SeifGuard may require:

• Accessibility Service permission — to monitor and block selected apps.
  
  

• Usage Access — to detect when apps are opened.
  
  

• Overlay permission — to display mandatory lucidity tests.
  
  

• Internet access — for subscriptions, donations, syncing, and Parent Mode.
  
  

These permissions are used solely for the app’s intended functionality. SeifGuard does not access your personal messages, photos, passwords, or files.

If you deny required permissions, some or all of the App features may not work.

5. Parent–Child Mode

If you activate Parent Mode:

• You confirm you have the legal right to monitor the child’s device.
  
  

• You understand that SeifGuard does not provide live GPS tracking.
  
  

• Only minimal usage logs (blocked apps, attempts, test results) may be shared between devices.
  
  

• You must not use the App to violate another person’s privacy or local laws.
  
  

Misuse of Parent Mode is strictly forbidden.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features may require a subscription or one-time payment.
Payments are processed through:

• Google Play Billing,
  
  

• Stripe, or
  
  

• RevenueCat.
  
  

By purchasing a subscription, you agree that:

• All payments are final and handled by the payment provider.
  
  

• We do not store your credit card details.
  
  

• You must manage your own subscription through your Google Play account.
  
  

Refund requests should be submitted directly through Google Play’s refund system.

7. Donations

If you choose to donate through the App:

• Donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
  
  

• Processing is handled by third-party payment providers.
  
  

• SeifGuard does not collect full financial information.
  
  

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including code, design, logos, texts, graphics, and features — is the exclusive property of Fieromania Company SRL.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App
  
  

• Use the App’s content for commercial purposes without permission
  
  

Violating these rights may result in account termination and legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

SeifGuard is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fieromania Company SRL is not liable for:

• Device malfunctions
  
  

• Data loss
  
  

• Inaccurate lucidity test results
  
  

• Failure to block an app or website
  
  

• Harm caused by misuse of the App
  
  

• Decisions made based on information displayed in the App
  
  

• Loss of funds, financial decisions, or gambling outcomes
  
  

You use the App at your own risk.

SeifGuard is a support tool, not a medical, psychological, or professional service.

10. No Guarantee of Perfect Blocking

While the App is designed to help you block selected content:

• No blocking system is 100% foolproof.
  
  

• System updates, device limitations, or user modifications may reduce effectiveness.
  
  

By using SeifGuard, you acknowledge these limitations.

11. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle data.

12. Termination

We may suspend or block your access to the App if you:

• Violate these Terms,
  
  

• Misuse the App,
  
  

• Attempt to bypass protections,
  
  

• Use the App for illegal purposes.
  
  

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
When changes occur, we will update the “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of SeifGuard after changes are published means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and the European Union.
Any disputes shall be resolved in Romanian courts, unless your local laws provide mandatory protections.
