By installing or using SeifGuard, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

SeifGuard is designed to operate with minimal data collection. The App does not access personal content, photos, messages, or files from your device.
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following types of information:

1.2. App Usage Information
To provide blocking, tracking, and protection features, the app may process:
The list of installed applications (to allow you to select which apps to block)
Attempts to open blocked apps
History of successful or failed lucidity tests
Time/date of protection mode state changes
This information is stored locally on your device unless explicitly stated otherwise.
1.3. Parent–Child Mode Data (if used)
If you enable Parent Mode:
The child device may send limited usage logs (e.g., blocked apps, attempts, and test results) to the parent account.
No GPS live tracking is performed.
No sensitive personal content from the child’s device is ever collected.
1.4. Payment Information
If you choose a subscription or donation:
Payments are processed securely through Google Play Billing, Stripe, or RevenueCat.
SeifGuard does not store or access full credit card numbers.
Only anonymized transaction identifiers may be stored for verifying subscription status.
2. How We Use Your Information
SeifGuard uses collected data strictly for the following purposes:
To enable app blocking and Safe Mode functionality
To run lucidity tests and verify results
To provide Parent Mode dashboards
To maintain app performance and security
To process subscriptions or donations
To respond to user requests or support inquiries
To comply with legal obligations (if applicable)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties.
3. Accessibility Permissions
SeifGuard requires Accessibility Service permissions to:
Detect when selected apps are opened
Prevent access to blocked apps
Display the lucidity test overlay
These permissions are used exclusively for protection and safety features.
SeifGuard does not read personal content, passwords, or messages.
Without these permissions, SeifGuard cannot function properly.
4. Website Blocking Permissions
If you enable website blocking:
The App processes visited URLs locally to determine whether the domain is restricted.
SeifGuard does not store or transmit your browsing history outside your device.
5. How We Store and Protect Your Data
We take security seriously. Depending on your selected features:
Local Storage
Most data (logs, settings, history) is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
Cloud Storage (only when required)
If you use syncing, Parent Mode, or subscription features, certain non-sensitive data may be stored on secure servers (e.g., Firebase, Supabase, or RevenueCat).
All data transmitted to our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.
Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to deliver the App’s core functionality or as required by law.
6. Sharing Your Information
We may share limited data only in the following cases:
Service providers (e.g., Firebase, RevenueCat, Stripe)
Legal compliance (if required by law enforcement)
We do not share personal data with advertisers or third-party marketing services.
7. Children’s Privacy
SeifGuard does not collect personal data from children without parental consent.
In Parent Mode, only minimal usage logs required for safety are transmitted.
The app is not intended for children under 13 unless used with supervision.
