Dead Air is a commissioned theatre project developed with Counterminers CIC, set in the valleys of South Wales and exploring loneliness, memory, and community in the years preceding the widespread adoption of the internet. Working through devising sessions, oral histories, and community-focused enquiry, I helped develop the play’s experimental, sound-led form, using audio, atmosphere, and fragmented memory as primary storytelling tools. The project investigates how landscapes, technologies, and social change shape human connection across generations.
