Instructional design lets me support people while contributing to meaningful business goals. Learning starts with people, not content. Confident, capable people support and drive organizations, leading to success and productivity. I value intentional design, clarity, and learner-centered approaches that strengthen employees' confidence and capability on the job, while expanding opportunities for businesses to grow.
As a former multilingual educator, I'm good at figuring out what learners actually need and designing training that sticks. I bring experience breaking down complex processes into clear, actionable steps; working with people from different backgrounds and departments; and developing creative, engaging learning experiences. My approach is practical, efficient, and considerate of learners' time and energy. Learners should always be able to answer "Why does this matter?" Learning should be job-relevant, engaging, and immediately applicable.
I build eLearning courses, job aids, quick reference materials, and scenario-based learning. I begin by identifying gaps and what learners need to do differently. From there, I plan before I build, so the final product solves the right problem. I am also expanding into video editing.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking and baking, watching hockey with friends and family, and swimming.
