Hello!

I'm Abigail Jane, a playwright and experienced multi-genre writer with a passion for collaborative projects.

Originally from sunny Orange County, California, I left home chasing the rain and now live in Bristol. I received my MA in Playwriting from St. Mary's Twickenham and my BA in English Creative Writing and Theatre from Seattle Pacific University.

My writing is characterised by my use of poetry and mythos as well as the themes of hope and reconciliation. My Blue Scarf most clearly demonstrates these characteristics in its use of poetic verse and grand theatricality exploring deep female relationships.

As a produced playwright and published author, I am particularly passionate about creative development. I have participated in various workshops (Northwest Playwrights Alliance, Writing 10,000) cultivating the skills of creative writers, and was a founding member of the SPU Musical Theatre Society to foster creative abilities in university students as they produced an original musical over the course of the academic year.
