Intro to Playwriting Workshop is a 6-week course designed to introduce you to the essentials of playwriting. By the end of the course, you’ll not only have a completed 10-minute play, but also a deeper understanding of your unique writing style.
In this course, you’ll learn how to craft a compelling story, develop dynamic characters, find your authentic voice, and write specifically for the stage. While geared toward aspiring playwrights, the storytelling techniques you’ll gain are valuable for writers of any genre and experience level.
In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with peers, exchange feedback, and refine your 10-minute play in a supportive, creative environment. This is often the favourite part of the course and where the most growth happens.
This course can only accommodate a few people at a time so act fast to secure a spot.
