Above, I have added a link to a website which was completed in a healthcare marketing course during my time here at Indiana University Indianapolis. This project was completed over the course of a semester and represents my ideas for a mock free health care clinic for students at Indiana University Indianapolis called "Campus Health Clinic". My concept is built around having a free and easily accessible clinic on our campus where students are able to receive the proper immunizations without cost disparities. This website highlights many different aspects of a typical marketing project. A few of the sections on the website include an executive summary for the clinic, their mission statement and values, my marketing research for the Indianapolis area, and my marketing plan. Additionally, the marketing plan includes my objectives, the public relations and social media plan, and the projected budget to fund my clinic. The different sections all include either photos, explanations, or examples which assist the viewer in understanding my ideas and plans for the clinic. Although it is simply a mock plan, I do believe, this level of work combined with the right tools this idea could come into fruition in the real professional world. I think my mock clinic successfully highlights my organizational skills, compassion for patient care, and ability to be professionally creative within a time limit. Every aspect on the site was specially tailored and created by myself, and although it was time consuming, the final product was well worth it and I am particularly proud of my work.
