I’m Abien G. Cherian, a robotics and control systems engineer with a passion for building intelligent, autonomous machines. Currently pursuing my Master’s at Carnegie Mellon University, I specialize in reinforcement learning, optimal control, and real-time embedded systems. My work spans from UAV navigation in challenging environments to developing MPC controllers and integrating advanced sensors like LiDAR. With hands-on experience in ROS, PX4, and platforms like Isaac Sim and Gazebo, I thrive at the intersection of software, hardware, and intelligent decision-making. I aim to create systems that not only perform but adapt, learn, and evolve in the real world. Use the navigation bar to explore more about my work and background.
