Current work focuses on carbon-water coupling, wildfire impacts on hydrology and soil erosion, watershed resilience, ecosystem responses to droughts and heatwaves, and predictive environmental modeling. Contributing to the California Fifth Climate Change Assessment and multiple projects on climate adaptation and ecosystem management.
