We always look for scholars who are passionate for research and aim to successful career in it. Applicants are expected to have preliminary knowledge and, if possible, experience in experimental physics of semiconductors, electronic device fabrication/processing, etc. or related areas.

1. Postdoc -

Number of openings: ONE 

Qualifications:

Applicant should have awarded PhD within last three years in Physics or Materials Science or Electronics/Electrical/Materials Engineering. Those who are waiting for final viva-voce can also apply.

2. Ph.D. - TWO

Number of 'regular position' openings: TWO

Qualifications:

Minimum First Class (60%) or 8 CGPA at both UG (B.Sc./B.Tech.) and PG (M.Sc./M.Tech.) degrees in Physics or Materials Science or Electronic/Electrical/Materials Engineering. Those who have appeared for PG final examinations and waiting for the results are also eligible to apply.

Fellowships:

- SRM Institute of Science and Technology's Fellowship

- The candidate is also encouraged to obtain funding through National Fellowships: INSPIRE Fellowship, Prime Minister's Fellowship, National Doctoral Fellowship, etc.

- We also welcome self-funded applicants.

3. B.Tech./M.Sc./M.Tech. projects -

The students in first or second year of M.Sc. Physics and M.Tech. Nanotechnology can contact Dr. Sagade.
