During my 7th semester of undergraduate studies, I collaborated with a team of five to design the interior of a residential building. This project showcased our collective creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail as we worked together to bring our vision to life.
Project Highlights
Design Focus: The interior design was centred on creating a harmonious living environment that balanced functionality and aesthetics. Each space was thoughtfully planned to cater to the needs of modern residential living while maintaining a cozy and welcoming ambiance.
Color and Texture: A key aspect of the design was the meticulous selection of color palettes and textures. From wall finishes to furniture upholstery, every element was chosen to enhance the visual appeal and create a cohesive look. Neutral tones were paired with bold accents, adding depth and character to each room.
Detailed Planning: The project included detailed layouts for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. Special attention was given to optimizing space utilization, ensuring that every corner served a purpose without compromising on style.
Surroundings Integration: We extended our design approach to include the surroundings, seamlessly integrating outdoor views and natural light into the interior spaces. This created a connection between the indoors and outdoors, enhancing the overall living experience.
Key Features
Lighting Design: A combination of natural and artificial lighting was employed to create a dynamic and adaptable ambiance for various times of the day and activities.
Material Selection: Sustainable and high-quality materials were prioritized to ensure durability, comfort, and environmental responsibility.
Innovative Storage Solutions: The design incorporated innovative storage systems to maximize efficiency while maintaining a clutter-free aesthetic.
