EACOP PROJECT
Throughout my career in logistics, have successfully managed and implemented projects that improved operational efficiency, reduced delays, and enhanced supply chain processes. Below are some of my key project achievements:
1. East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP PROJECT)
EACOP Project
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is a 1,443 km pipeline project transporting crude oil from Hoima, Uganda to Tanga, Tanzania. It is one of the largest cross-border infrastructure projects in East Africa, requiring extensive logistics, cargo handling, and coordination.
Main Contractor – E.A.L.S. Limited
E.A.L.S. Limited is the main logistics contractor for the EACOP project in Tanzania, responsible for transportation, warehousing, lifting operations, and overall logistics management to ensure safe and efficient delivery of project cargo.
For the EACOP Project, the main logistics contractor E.A.L.S. Limited (EALS) engaged Superstar Freight Forwarder (SSF) as a key subcontractor in transportation services. SSF further subcontracted companies such as Capital Enquiries, Delina, FMS, and Blue Coast, who were responsible solely for the movement of cargo by road. This network of partners ensured timely and efficient transportation of pipes, general cargo, abnormal loads, and OOG shipments across Tanzania and Uganda.
Logistics Operations Summary – Ports, ICDs & Project Sites
We have completion discharge of 87,605 Pipes with zero Lost Time Injury
We have directly loaded FBE pipes (18 meters in length, with various thicknesses including 10mm, 13mm, 15mm, and 18mm) at Dar es Salaam Port.
We have successfully offloaded 16 vessels carrying 18-meter FBE pipes of different thicknesses (10mm, 13mm, 15mm, and 18mm).
