How do I know how many devices I’ll need for my students?
Resources are bundled in classroom sets. The number of devices in each set will vary depending on the resource and how they can be best used for instruction. Details of how many devices are included in a classroom set can be found directly beneath the calendar for each resource.
How long will it take to receive my requested resources?
Your resource request form must be received at least one week prior to the requested borrowing date. Once you submit a resource request form, you should expect to receive an email within 1-2 days to confirm your request and provide you with a date of pickup.
How do I get the requested resources?
Once your resource request has been submitted, you will receive an email confirming your date of pickup. All resources must be picked up by the requester at Penn State New Kensington, 3550 7th Street Road New Kensington, PA 15068. IIf you have not received this “Ready for Pick-Up” email, please email Colleen Smith at cms64@psu.edu before coming to campus.
I would like to borrow resources from the ABC CREATE Resource Library, but I’m not sure if I am allowed.
Resources within the ABC CREATE Resource Library are available to all ABC CREATE participating schools. Please click HERE to see if your school is one of the 14 ABC CREATE participating school districts. If you are not teaching in a qualifying school, you may still be able to borrow resources from your Intermediate Unit’s lending library. Please check individual websites for details and availability.
How long can I borrow the resources for?
Items can be borrowed for a maximum of three weeks.
How can I learn more about the resources in the Resource Library?
A brief item description can be viewed for each resource by selecting the item from the Resources to Borrow drop-down menu at the top of the screen. Additional information can also be found on the Item Overview page.
Are there lesson plans available for the resources?
