Friend edition

Each time you add or modify a Friend you will be able to view or modify the following parameters:

• Picture: you cannot change it within the application. The picture displayed is the one you attached to your phone book contact. So there is a picture only if you selected your friend from your contacts. If no picture is available, then a generic avatar is displayed.
• Name: When you modify the name, a list of matching contacts is displayed, if you select a contact from this list then the following data is automatically set from your contact: picture, name, emails, phone numbers. The application will interpret the name with the format "<firstname> <lastnames>". This means that the first word is considered as the first name and the rest is the last name. It is better to respect this format because according to the available space on the screen the application may display only the first name or the initials, or the full name.
• Email address: this email address will be used by the application to help you to send a report to your friends. The application don't send any email itself so you will be able to verify and modify the recipients before sending an email.
• Mobile phone number: this is also used by the application to help you to send a report by SMS to your friends. This is also used when if you want to share an event. In this case, if you selected the option SMS, it could be sent directly by the application when you validate the sharing. Warning: it is important to configure here a mobile phone number, because it this will be used to send SMS only.
• Default coefficient: this is the default coefficient of participation when you create a new expense operation. Useful if for example you enter only one friend representing a couple of persons. In this case you should set a default coefficient of 2. Another example: it could be 0.5 for a child or 2.5 for a friend representing a couple with a child.
• Group Name: You can enter here any name, the goal is to group all friends having the same group name. This will simplify the refund plan in Who owes to whom screen. This group name could be the family name.
