at my job, things can get pretty slow some days. so, in lieu of a sketchbook, i create art on the back of our kids menus, using restaurant pens, markers, and crayons. every so often, i do bring my nice supplies, but i still draw on the kids menu. 

(excuse the broken japanese -- i was and still am learning. it's egregiously bad.)
