Welcome to the Ann Arbor Music Showcase! Beginning on August 1st, every week we will feature one video on AAYCM's instagram page from community musicians in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
* You must be residing, performing, or attending school in Ann Arbor, or a neighboring area in Michigan.
* You must be at least 14 years old, and there is no upper limit. For musicians 14-17 years old, parental consent is required.
Submission Guidelines:
* Around 30 seconds to 3 minutes
* MP4 video file
* Video has to have been taken within the last 4 weeks
* You may participate multiple times, even if already featured
* You may submit up to 3 videos per week (create new form submission for each)
* Only original music, live acoustic covers, or songs entirely in the public domain will be accepted. Studio-recorded backing tracks or copyrighted instrumental tracks will be automatically disqualified.
Other Notes:
* Your submission may be an excerpt or a complete piece.
* No limit on the number of musicians in a submission
* You do not need to show your face in the video
* If your submission isn't featured this week, it will still be considered for the next 4 weeks.
* Upon submission, you have the option to disable like visibility, comments, etc.
