Reinventing artists’ residencies, Villa Albertine is creating a network for arts and ideas spanning France and the United States. It offers tailor-made residencies for global creators, thinkers and cultural professionals.

 -  Community College in France (CCF)  --  Deadline: December 22, 2023

      CCF offers a framework by which US community college students can participate in affordable, tailor-

made study abroad or degree-granting programs in France.

      - Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF)  --  Deadline: January 15, 2024 

    TAPIF is open to anyone with three years of completed college credits, who can demonstrate a B1 level of     French on the CEFR global scale.  

- Bourse Chateaubriand  --  Deadline for applications: January 27, 2024

   The Chateaubriand Fellowship is a grant offered by the Embassy of France in the United States. It supports   outstanding PhD students from U.S institutions who wish to conduct part of their doctoral research in   France for a period ranging from 4 to 9 months. Chateaubriand fellows are selected through a merit-

   based competition, with expert evaluation in France and in the United States. 

     -  French in Higher Education  --  Deadline for applications: January 30, 2024

  The French in Higher Education grant program supports transformative projects and/or internship programs in college and university French departments in the US.  

     -  Transatlantic Research Partnership (TRP)  --  Deadline for applications: February 29, 2024

  The Transatlantic Research Partnership aims to encourage innovative research and new collaborations         between young, post-doctoral researchers from France and the United States.

University of Washington Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship  --  Deadline: January 31, 2024

FLAS Fellowships support undergraduate, graduate and professional students in acquiring modern foreign languages and area or international studies competencies. Students from all UW departments and schools are encouraged to apply.

Seattle- Nantes Sister City Association  --  Deadline:  February 1, 2024

Seattle-Nantes Sister City Association offers three scholarships to students in Washington state. Each scholarship awards $1,500. There is a limit of one scholarship     per person; please only apply to the scholarship that best represents your qualifications. Click on the links below to download the application. 

National Endowment for the Humanities   --  Deadline: March 5, 2024

The NEH Division of Education supports professional development programs for K-12 educators, higher education faculty, and humanities professionals to study a variety of humanities topics.
