Machine Learning Workshop

With the inflow of large amounts of data taken by the next generation of telescopes, Machine Learning (ML) techniques are becoming more and more important for astronomers.

The goal of this workshop (held at the AAS #235 on January 7, 2020) was to open the door to various ML techniques for astronomers. It is divided in three Tutorials of different difficulty levels to reach a broad level of expertise. On this webpage, we provide all the materials (datasets and Jupyter notebooks) that were used during the workshop to anyone who is interested.

The workshop was organized by Caltech/IPAC and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and run on AWS servers with Amazon credits.
