AARP Tax Aide Kernersville

AARP Tax-Aide is a free service offered in conjunction with the IRS. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained to help you prepare and file your federal and state income tax returns, including a variety of common forms and schedules.

A brief history

For over 25 years, we have been serving the people in Kernersville and the surrounding communities by preparing their Federal and State taxes.

Where we are today

The Tax-Aide site at The Shepherd's Center is using the traditional face-to-face model this year. Tax returns will be prepared by appointment only (no walk-in appointments).
