Drakkan sets in medieval era in a fantasy world ruled by 4 Dragon-Gods. It's divided by 4 regions: Dragonrest in the middle, Coldharbour in the north, Elven empire Autumndale in the east, and Dwarven kingdom Hammerfall in the west. Magic exists similar to talents, basic elemental magic being the most common to be studied and learned. Each regions have its own tradition and government to rule.

Humans have been exploring spaces for centuries,and forever fascinated by the stars in the vast space with their telescope and radio. However one day, humankind decided to explore more through the wormhole, and find a massive, humanoid form with a black star at its core on the other side of space, greeting them. It calls itself a race of sentient stars, scattered throughout the cosmos in slumbers for centuries.

Set in late 90s, in this world some of the cities across the world have unique weather. Legend says these cities was build upon the sins of humanity, or enraged The Maker, and thus resulting in such unique weather. Some city are always rainy, while others are sunk deep under the waves. People who came from these cities are dubbed as 'sinners', which serve as a slur as the world deems people from these places sought doom upon their land and people. Douglas serve as the main character.
