Rules and School Policy

C.A.P.S. SCHOOL POLICY AND RULES

• School begins at 8:30am and is dismissed at 3pm. Infants dismisses at 2:30pm

• No jewelry is to be worn except for studs for girls. ABSOLUTELY NO jewelry for boys.

• No lavish hairstyles for girls , no fancy haircuts for boys. Boys who have long hair must be Platt neatly at all times (no fancy or exotic styles)

• Students must wear their gym clothes underneath their school uniforms the days they have gym. Cell phones are not allowed to be used in the building. If the cell goes off during class or is seen by the teacher, the teacher will collect the cell phone and bring it to the administrator office, where it will be collected by the parent or guardian.

• Students who enter the building with their incorrect uniforms must have a written excuse.

• When absent from school, the student must have a written excuse from their parent or guardian.

• If a student is absent for more than three days of school, the teacher or principal has the right to contact the parents of that student. Parents or Guardians are not allowed to speak or meet with teachers concerning their well being of their child during class time unless they have an appointment.

• Parent are not to use profanity towards teachers or students.

• Parents are not allowed to discipline any other student. Parents are not allowed to come on the compound if they do not dress appropriately. No short pants, thin strap tops, No transparent top, pants or skirt.

• If any parent wants to speak with his or her teacher please write a note in the student communication book to inform the teacher.
