Young Entrepreneur Institute- Northwest Arkansas
The research is clear: students who develop an entrepreneurial mindset — the ability to identify problems, take initiative, and persist through failure — perform better academically and are better prepared for whatever comes after graduation. It's not about teaching every kid to start a business. It's about giving them the thinking skills that make them effective in any path they choose. Young Entrepreneur Institute - Northwest Arkansas has been building this kind of learning in NWA classrooms since 2023. Through the YIPPEE platform, local teachers now have direct access to local speakers, hands-on kits, and classroom-ready resources that make it real, practical, and free. Marion Dunagan, Senior Strategy Advisor for YEI, will show you what it looks like in middle school classrooms across the region — and how your teachers can plug in starting today.
