My upcoming trilogy of books that begins the cycle anew

Stargazers is series that I've been working on for over 5 years. It sounds really ambitious and epic when I say it like that, but the truth is that I had the idea for this concept 5 years ago, and I wrote the first book in the series around then. Then I took a 3-and-a-half-year hiatus from writing anything. Call it whatever you'd like: burnout, writer's block, laziness, but I didn't work on the series until earlier in 2023. I went back through my old drafts, reviewing the story I'd spent around 6 months writing, thinking back to all of the memories.
And I hated every part of the draft. Don't get me wrong, the concept behind it still excited me, but the way I'd written back in the day was, for a lack of better words, horrifying. So I decided to instead outline the entire story, and do a full rewrite of it. Along the way, I've added a lot more lore to the world itself, created character profiles, a mythos, a religion and a few cults (whoops spoiler). I spent a few months just fleshing out every part of my story before actually starting it.Â
