My name is Aadia Moseley-McCloud (she/her/hers) and I'm a PhD student who is broadly interested in ecosystem processes, plant functional traits, and plant-microbe interactions in temperate ecosystems.
I aim to understand how environmental change, in macro- or micro- enviornments, affects plant functional traits and plant-microbe interactions, and how those changes subsequently impact ecosystem functioning.
In 2025, I completed my M.S. in the Classen lab at the University of Michigan in the department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. After recieving my M.S. program, I transitioned to the PhD program where I am still a student in the Classen lab.
When I'm not doing science, I enjoy reading romance novels, indoor bouldering, spending time outside with friends, and baking!
