I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Basic Sciences (Physics) at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, India. My research lies at the intersection of astrophysics and cosmology, with a particular focus on understanding the formation and evolution of galaxies in the early Universe.

I completed my Ph.D. in the Faculty of Science at The University of Melbourne, Australia, under the supervision of Prof. Stuart Wyithe. My doctoral research explored emission line galaxies during the Epoch of Reionization, combining analytic galaxy formation models with state-of-the-art photoionization simulations to investigate the physical conditions—such as ionization, metallicity, and interstellar medium properties—within early galaxies.

Prior to my Ph.D., I earned an M.Sc. in Astronomy from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. During my master’s research, supervised by Dr. Suman Majumdar, I worked on the analysis of Cosmic Dawn and Epoch of Reionization (CD-EoR) images, employing advanced statistical techniques such as the Largest Cluster Statistics to characterize the morphology of ionized regions.
