MARBEFES is a multidisciplinary project that aimse to determine the links between biodiversity, ecosystem functioning and the resulting ecosystem services and societal goods and benefits, and to achieve ecological and socio-economic valuation to enhance the policy and governance for the marine environment in the European Union. This project is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.

OCEAN CITIZEN aims to successfully restore degraded marine forests and provide nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation. It also aims to adopt protocols for measuring the coastal restoration and management impact. Furthermore, the project aims to boost an ocean-literate society, promote blue growth opportunities, and contribute to existing legislation on restoration and conservation practices in underwater coastal areas. This project is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
