First, watch this short tutorial. You'll learn how to use a spreadsheet that contains
all the census record entries for Washtenaw county from 1900 and 1910.
Then continue below for the link to the spreadsheet and step-by-step instructions.

Your job is to decide if the census matches the computer-generated link to the Family Tree individuals. Use the compare button to help you.
Date of birth: One year off is common since it's an estimate based on how old the person was at the time the census was taken.
Names: Census enumerators didn't always ask how to spell! Nicknames and maiden names come into play sometimes.
Probability: Use your deductive reasoning . . . How likely is it that there were two Frederick Brauns born in Germany in 1865 who each married an Augusta (or Maria A Braun?) and had a child named Alexander G Braun born in Ann Arbor, Michigan?
If you're reasonably certain it's a match, use the add and attach buttons to save the census information to each person's profile.
If you're not sure, don't add or attach anything. Just return to the spreadsheet.
Return to the Census Hints spreadsheet to report what you found:
Enter a 1 for a match and completed attachment
Enter 0.5 if you weren't sure if it was a match and
didn't attach
Practice the above steps with the next URLs you reserved until you feel comfortable enough to level up!
