A Time Well Spent
A Time Well Spent
I strongly believe that youth is the hope of our nation and this is my first and foremost principle and my drive in teaching. With this said, as an educator I am more than willing to take part in this ambition by means of helping the youth or learners by the best I can. One of my goals as an educator is to help students see studying and learning not as a burden but to make them realize the importance of it and the enjoyment alongside because many students refuse studying not because they don’t want to but because they think it’ll only exhaust them. So I won’t give them unnecessary work. Also, I will do more assisting and guiding in my teaching because I want learners to learn on their own and because I trust their potentials and competencies to do problem-solving. However, I’ll make sure that I did the bestowing of needed information and knowledge in the first place.
I want to highlight the importance of believing in my students. That's why I said the latter sentence. Believing in them takes a big part on who they will be in the future and how they will perform. Believing in them will be manifested by means of group collaboration, affirmation and also giving out challenges for their assessments or evaluations. But I’m not saying to neglect proper teachings or lessons, those two can be integrated. I do not want to just comply and teach but also to make a difference to my learners. Moreover, I will also model the fundamental values because a teacher must be a doer of his/her words.
