Amanda has worked most with young children and elders.

She currently specializes in gardening and food education.

Amanda grew up gardening and exploring nature with her family. As a high schooler, she participated in volunteer trail work trips and took classes on ecology and animal science. 

In college, she obtained a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and a minor in Environmental Studies, and was able to explore and expand her interest in sustainability and communication/education.

After college, she has held many roles, in both Georgia and Oregon. She has worked with a range of ages, from preschoolers in garden and school environments, to folks in memory care and retirement communities.

preschool teacher, after school program lead, garden educator, family resource navigator, farmers market assistant manager, garden and nursery manager and volunteer coordinator, among other roles.

Her passion for sharing the joys and complexities of the natural world with others, has driven her in those roles, and continues to drive her into the future in her work with her business bestie, Anya, as A+!

Anya has worked most with toddlers and individuals with disabilities.  

She currently specializes in caregiver education and early language learning.

Anya has been working with kids since she was a kid herself. She is an Oregon native who grew up speaking French with her family, and learned English in preschool. 

As a teen, she was a summer camp counselor and offered peer tutoring. She has worked in a variety of early learning environments, starting when she was in high school.

After graduating, she worked as an Assistant Teacher at a learning center, working primarily with 2 year olds.

Then, she moved to Arkansas and became a Classroom Technician at a pediatric day center for children with disabilities and developmental delays.

She began attending Arkansas State University, studying elementary education, before moving back to Oregon and transferring to Portland State University, where she earned a B.A. in Social Science/Liberal Studies and a minor in Child, Youth, and Family Studies. 

Following graduation, she worked at an intergenerational preschool and then a preschool specializing in deaf education.

She is currently fueling her passion for serving children and families in her community while exploring entrepreneurship with her A+ business bestie, Amanda!
