Summer Workshop

The educators participating in this grant work came together in July 2022 at Nassau Community College for a week of exploration, conversation, reading, writing and sharing. Presentations from the Holocaust Museum and Tolerance Center  (HMTC) and the Anti-Racist Project added to the thinking the group was doing around identity, equality, family stories and our place in the larger story of America. The week ended at the HMTC where educators had time to explore the museum and the grounds, with time to process, write and share.
