Students choose to participate in the simulation in one of two roles.
An investigator on a team of CSI agents who will document and investigate crimes in an effort to successfully indict criminals.
An actor playing multiple roles within the crime simulations. All the actors work together to produce a consistent and realistic simulation. Most of the actors performances are live interviews with investigators as suspects, victims, related witnesses, parents, and news crews.
Each instructor teaches small lessons within the simulation and plays a vital role within the simulation

As an Instructor:
Teach students proper procedure sending evidence to the lab.
Role in Simulation:
Consult with forensic teams on evidence and provides analysis of evidence submitted to the lab.
Kyla Hawkins - (Psychology/Psychologist)
As an Instructor:
Teach students about questioning tactics and the rights of minors.
Role in Simulation:
Consult with forensic teams on requested psychological profiles and serving as an advocate for minors during interrogations.
Mary Pozaric - (Criminal Law/Judge)
As an Instructor:
Teach students about search and seizure laws, warrants, and indictments.
Evaluate the final products (indictment) produced by the students.
Role in Simulation:
Consult with forensic teams on legal issues and issues search warrants.
Rosemary Brown - (Drama)
Cast parts in the simulation. Use actors, props, and scenes to create realistic exhibits and events.
Prepare the students for their roles and facilitate collaboration between the actors as the simulation takes a life of its own.
