SUMMARY
Appvantage is designed to be private. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. There is no Appvantage account and no Appvantage server. Everything the app shows is stored only on your device.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect nothing. Appvantage has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. We do not receive your name, email, device identifiers, usage data, or your App Store sales data.
2. YOUR APP STORE CONNECT DATA
Appvantage works by letting you connect your own read-only App Store Connect API key. Using that key, the app fetches your reports (downloads, sales, estimated proceeds, payouts, and subscriptions) directly from Apple to your device. This data is processed and stored only locally on your device. It is never sent to us or to any third party.
3. YOUR API KEY
- Your .p8 key, Key ID, Issuer ID, and vendor number are stored only in your device Keychain.
- The key is used solely to sign requests sent directly to Apple.
- The key is never transmitted to us and is never shared with any third party.
- The key is read-only and revocable. You can revoke it at any time in App Store Connect.
- Removing an account in the app, or using Reset Data, deletes the stored key and related data from your device.
4. NETWORK CONNECTIONS
The app makes only two kinds of network connections:
- Apple App Store Connect API (api.appstoreconnect.apple.com), authenticated with your key, to fetch your own reports.
- A public currency exchange-rate service (frankfurter.app, based on European Central Bank reference rates) to convert estimated proceeds into your chosen display currency. This request retrieves public exchange rates only and contains no personal data, no identifiers, and none of your sales data.
We do not use advertising or analytics networks.
5. TRACKING
We do not track you and do not use the Advertising Identifier. Under Apple App Tracking Transparency, Appvantage performs no tracking.
6. NOTIFICATIONS
The optional daily summary notification is generated on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.
7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
All app data lives on your device. You remain in control: delete individual accounts, use Reset Data in Settings, or delete the app to remove all stored data. Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side.
8. CHILDREN
Appvantage is a tool for developers and is not directed to children under 13.
9. SECURITY
Secrets are stored using the iOS Keychain. All communication with Apple uses HTTPS. There is no server-side copy of your data.
10. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR, CCPA, AND SIMILAR)
Because Appvantage does not collect or process your personal data on any server, requests to access, correct, or delete personal data are satisfied entirely on your device and under your control. If you have questions, contact us below.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
