In A Beautiful Mind, we are exploring the thoughts of John Nash, an esteemed mathematician, at the early years of his life as a student.
From the rapid advancement of his career and love life, you can say that he is doing quite well for himself despite being a reclusive person. He is even offered a job by Pentagon to decipher secret codes from magazines and newspapers that is sent by Soviet spy to thwart their plans. But, what if a part of his life is not true, instead it is an elaborate lie? A lie that he himself aren’t aware of?
A Beautiful Mind is a biographical drama film based on Sylvia Nasar's book, touching on the topic of mental illness. It delves on the thoughts of a schizophrenic, and how the obsession created by the illness makes a person spiral into nigh-insanity.
