"Charlie Kirk's last words exit like bullets"

My first time writing in ghazal form, this is a piece I wrote for class the (very late) night of Charlie Kirk's passing.

"the Big Levandowski"

My first time writing a pastoral, this is another piece I wrote for the same class experimenting with juxtaposing ideas of ultra-modern technology (e.g. AI) and nature. Levandowski referring to Anthony Levandowski, founder of now revived robotheistic church, Way of the Future.

"mother mary"

For class, my attempt at emulating the experimental style of Keith S. Wilson. Version 1 (left) is the first draft I changed into v2 (right) to better fit his style. I ended up keeping both. The feature a bleeding heart dove, often symbolizing the heart of Jesus Christ.

Another piece for class, this time untitled. Inspired heavily by Ocean Vuong's frequent alternating line format (that I've noticed or made up noticing). Very corny, but I've grown to like it.
