Alador "Ace" Morgan is an English major with a minor in Electronic Media Broadcasting and Honors at Northern Kentucky University. It's a running joke that his filmmaker persona is Ace and his writer persona is Alador.
He was raised in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, but born in Portland, Oregon—a place he wishes to revisit someday. His poems fill the majority of his work. Otherwise, he enjoys the philosophical, the horrific, and above all, the thought-provoking in fiction, nonfiction, and screenwriting alike.
Alador's goal is to inspire, to disgust, and to cut deep by exploring the nuances of identity, love, and family in his writing. He's been published twice as of his freshman year, and both instances can be found under Publications & Accolades.
Ace started filming when he got his first LeapPad as a child. He likes to think not much has changed from his narrated, one-take doll-drama days. He actually started filmmaking around 2022, and in 2023 co-founded a small media business that wrapped in 2025. Ace is now an independent freelancer with experience editing, directing, writing, filming, and all-around composing a film. He served as the Treasurer for NKKU's Norse Film Society fall of 2025, and the Vice President spring of 2026.
His portfolio is mostly a collection of comedic shorts, but as he improves, Ace hopes to achieve a meaningful, personal piece following the beats of his biggest influence, Mike Flanagan.
