 There is a restaurant in town and also one in Holimont.  They serve healthy foods that appeal to a health-conscious clientele. Dina’s selections are made to order from local, fresh ingredients whenever possible.

Since this restaurant is in the HV resort, it is easy to forget about.  However, they have great foods and amazing salads.  You can enjoy the outdoor patio and enjoy the scenery after a long day.

EBC  is a select micro-brewery of fabulous craft beers with a tremendous american cuisine menu.  It's one of our favs!

EBC Tap +  Bottle  & Taqueria: BC Tap+Bottle & Taqueria. Tap+Bottle & Taqueria is an authentically influenced taqueria, inspired by Mexican al pastor dining, as well as a combination brewpub and carry out bottle shop. Yum!

During the pandemic, this place rocked it out and you are get an amazing meal!  We have too many favorites to list  . . . but the Weck and Burgers  . . . you can't miss.  Also  . . they have entertainment most the week.

A new neighborhood spot.  They also have 18 beers on tap,  and a small plate menu for a quick snack.

This place has some good pie.  It is right in the middle of town, and easy to get delivery or just pick it up.  If you get there before the pizza is done, you can grab a quick draft of local craft!

Just across the road from us is a great place for a bit and to use the fancy tap pouring /tasting system.

This place is tucked back off the main streets of downtown, but NOT to be missed.  Everything is great, but the Love Me Tender, Love Me Blue is amazing!

Yes, this pizza shop is in a bowling alley, but what better place to make some 'za.  We were especially greatful they stayed open during the pandemica so we could enjoy a couple slices!

Ok  . .  maybe not a local place, but there is nothing like a Tim Bit on a Sunday before you roll out of town.  It has a drivethrough which is convenient when the snow is piling up!

Just on the edge of town (we recommend driving), Steelbound has a lot to offer and is very family friendly. They have a huge outdoor patios to enjoy for most of the year.

This is a new additional to town, with a great wood-burning oven and a unique twist on casual cuisine.

Outside of Ellicottville

For those of you who are a little more adventurous, there are some great restaurants and breweries in the surrounding area.  There are a lot of great places to explore, we just gather a few in two places close by:  Olean and Hamburg.

Olean

Four Mile Brewing: https://4milebrewing.com/

A former brewery turned lumber storage facility.  Great beers, and a lovely patio.  A smaller menu, but some yummy great selections.

The Beef 'N' Barrel is a family owned Premier Beef and Steakhouse serving the greater Olean Area for more than 40 years. Featuring daily lunch and dinner specials with a wide variety of menu options.

The Old Library Restaurant: https://www.theoldlibraryofolean.com/ 

The Old Library is a converted library built by Steel Baron Andrew Carnegie.  The Old Library Restaurant is a lively,  upscale casual venue full of Old-World charm and Art Deco flare --- paying tribute to the history of Olean's prohibition-era with our casual speakeasy vibe. This exquisite historical landmark was listed on the National and State Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Hamburg

Another nearby town with a little village that has an offering of store, restaurants, a winery and a brewery.  Worth exploring if you are in the area.

A great taproom with a variety of beer selections.  The menu is smaller, but the food is good. The atmosphere is great.  In the colder months, the huge stone fireplace is incredible. In the summer, the outdoor setup with the pond is great.  They have live music, so it is worth the short drive to enjoy a great afternoon or evening.

Pellicano Vineyard Hamburg Winery: https://www.pellicanovineyard.com/ 

On the same road as Hamburg Brewing, there is a lovely winery.  They have a tasting menu with wines by the bottle and glass.  You can also get appetizers and pasta.  They have live music at the venue, and the schedule is posted on their website.

They are in Hamburg, and have a few locations including one that is going to open in Ellicottville soon down the road from Steelbound.  Great craft beer selection.

Born from an idea in a New Orleans wine bar, a great spot in the village to stop for a glass of wine or a draft. Check  out their calendar for music and other events.
