Formula of simple present tense:
- Affirmative Sentences:
Subject + Verb 1 (s/es for third person singular: he, she, it)
Example: She eats breakfast every morning.
- Negative Sentences:
Subject + do/does + not + Verb 1
Example: He does not (doesn't) play football.
- Interrogative Sentences:
Do/Does + Subject + Verb 1?
Example: Do you like ice cream?
Usage of simple present tense :
1. Daily Habits:
- Example: She goes to school by bus.
Explanation: Expresses actions done regularly.
2. General Truths:
- Example: The sun rises in the east.
Explanation: States scientific facts or universally accepted truths.
3. Scheduled Events:
- Example: The train leaves at 6 p.m.
