If you are looking for a quick euphoria, wakeboarding is the sport for you. Quick to learn but difficult to master, our wakeboard instructors will help you ride in one session, but it's up to you how hard you want to push your skills. Watch our trainers pull indy grabs, 180 spins, and build huge airs out of the slipstream, then practice these tricks yourself.
Level 1 - Riding the trail
You have to start somewhere, so this course makes it easy for beginners with the essential basics of wakeboarding. Starting with safety, you will learn the hand signals to communicate with the boat driver and how to get in and out of the wakeboard attacks. We will explain how to perform a deep water start and why you have to release the rope when you fall, then it's your turn. You will feel comfortable driving behind the boat, crossing the wake and using one hand to hold the rope.
Level 2 - Jumps and turns
Jump straight to the next level and start practicing jumps and spins. You will be shown how to perform the slips of the wake to increase your control and confidence on the wakeboard, then our instructors will demonstrate how to jump the slipstream and spins. Learn how to generate extra speed when preparing for a jump and how to position your body and arms for smooth landings. So it's your turn to practice throwing from the slipstream and nailing those 180s!
Level 3 - Big Air
If you are ready to give it your all or even try the wake skate, get expert coaching on the best technique and the safest ways to land from our coaches. They will demonstrate jumping and landing from one wake to another, adding a variety of holds and spins to study. You will have a chance to ask any questions you have before attempting to throw from one side of the wake to the other. See how high you can throw yourself ... you'll definitely need a few tries before nailing a smooth landing in the wake!
Level 4 - Wake Skate
For the boys and girls skaters try the wake skate; its loads are easier to hit the water than the floor. Your trainer will guide you through the technique for starting in deep water, so it's time to kick flips and ollies out of the slipstream. For surfers the wake skate may seem more natural as you are not tied to the board, you can surf the wake making hard strokes from the edge of the wake, 180, 360 and not worry about the dreaded "catching an edge".
