SURT UPDATE (CAO 12 FEB 2026):

BIG FIVE STATUS (RAP Week Events ONLY) now extends to O3 and above (Officers) / 11B E6 and above or
non-11 series E7 and above (NCOs). Students in BIG FIVE status will only attend morning RAP Week events (RPFA, CWST, Land Navigation, RTT Class, and 12mile FM) and attend WARNORD, TLPs, and OPORD classroom briefs.
BIG FIVE students will NOT remain on Camp overnight throughout the SURT Class and will NOT conduct graded patrols.

SURT Class 06-26 and beyond will resource ammo for both the M4 and XM7. While the M4 remains the preferred weapon for students, both will be accepted until full implementation of new weapon system across Division.
