In the 2nd Grade Celebration Unit, we will be discovering themes of community within the students’ everyday lives in the schools, in the classroom, and in the larger community of Sitka, Alaska. This place-based unit will dive into one of the prominent cultural communities in Sitka, the Lingít community.
