My name is Mrs. Shania Hayden, and I am the 7th grade reading teacher at Chestnut Ridge Middle School. I graduated from Seton Hill University with a Bachelor's in English. During my time at Seton Hill, I was the editor-in-chief of the student-run publication The Setonian and I was published twice in the campus literary magazine Eye Contact. Before attending Seton Hill, I was enlisted in the U.S. Navy for two years where I was a linguist studying Persian-Farsi. Outside of school, I have a cat named Sasha and a husband named Logan.
