Los interesados en participar en el Congreso con una comunicación deberán enviar un resumen (300 palabras) y un breve currículum vitae (150 palabras) en español o en inglés, a la Secretaría del Congreso (efcobian@udc.es) antes del 1 de abril de 2021.

Las propuestas deberán estar referidas a una de las siguientes áreas temáticas:

• AT1. La arquitectura religiosa de un país, de un arquitecto, de una obra orientales.

• AT2. Relaciones entre la arquitectura, la religión y la sociedad: colonización y descolonización.

• AT3. Arquitectos occidentales que hayan trabajado en Extremo Oriente y arquitectos orientales que hayan trabajado fuera de la región.

• AT4. Últimas arquitecturas, últimas tendencias: la presencia de la arquitectura religiosa oriental en los medios.

Una vez aceptadas, las comunicaciones completas deberán tener una extensión comprendida entre 4000 y 5000 palabras y estarán escritas en formato Word (doc o rtf). Los idiomas admitidos serán el español y el inglés.

Además de la arquitectura, la convocatoria también está abierta a otras disciplinas afines, como historia, arte, teología o antropología, que puedan ayudar a comprender mejor el objeto de estudio.

El Comité Científico seleccionará las comunicaciones que se leerán durante el evento (15 min.)

Al término del congreso, los autores tendrán la oportunidad de mejorar sus comunicaciones, antes de someterlas a su evaluación definitiva para su posible publicación en la revista on-line Actas de Arquitectura Religiosa Contemporánea (ISSN 2340-5503).

Those interested in participating in the Conference with a paper should send an abstract (300 words) and a brief curriculum vitae (150 words), in Spanish or English, to the Conference Secretariat (efcobian@udc.es) before April 1, 2021.

They should also be referred to one of the following thematic areas:

• TA1. Religious architecture of a single country, architect, or eastern work.

• TA2. Relationship between architecture, religion and society: colonization and decolonization.

• TA3. Western architects who have worked in the Far East and oriental ones who have worked outside the region.

• TA4. Latest architectures, latest trends: the presence of oriental religious architecture on the media.

Once accepted, papers must have an extension between 4000 and 5000 words and will be written in Word format (doc or rtf). Languages supported will be Spanish and English.

In addition to architecture, the call is also open to other related disciplines, such as history, art, theology or anthropology, that can help to better understand the object of study.

The Scientific Committee will select the communications to be read during the event (15 min.)

At the end of the conference, Authors will have the opportunity to improve their papers, before submitting them to their final evaluation for possible publication in the journal Actas de Arquitectura Religiosa Contemporánea (ISSN 2340-5503).
