With its rugged construction, highly efficient design and hydraulically matched components, this filter provides all the clean, crystal clear water your pool requires. Plus, it's incredibly simple to operate and maintain and built with long-term reliability in mind. The Sand Dollar filter features a special internal filter design that keeps the sand bed level which is critical for consistent performance and extended filter cycles and a one-piece thermoplastic filter tank for exceptional strength, corrosion resistance and long life. The internal design also ensures that water is exposed to maximum sand surface are for superior filtration performance and efficient backwashing. The filter comes complete with the filter tank, 1.5 inch 6-way multi-port valve, sight glass and pressure gauge. Valve functions include: Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Waste, Closed and Recirculate. Also included is a 1 horsepower Pentair SuperFlo in ground pool pump. SuperFlo's silent running capability and small footprint allow it to easily drop into a compact equipment pad. The cam and ramp lid locks in place easily with a quarter turn and features a see-through lid that permits easy inspection of strainer basket. Included with the SuperFlo pump is a set of 1.5 inch internal slip and 2 inch external slip unionized fittings for plumbing versatility. Requires 300 pounds of sand.
