Join Pivot Interactives 676, Complete a second Pivot Ineractives activity from the preceding list. nclude a pdf (print as pdf) or screen captures of your work.
Create an online investigation that requires students to record, analyze, AND interpret data from pre-recorded movies of phenomena (e.g. Pivot Interactives) or simulations of real-world phenomena (e.g. PhET, Gizmos). Your investigation should require students to create a model or explanation of the real-life phenomena. You may use these videos from Pivot Interactives, or videos of your choice in the creation of your investigation.
Here are a couple of examples of online investigations made in this way:
Photosynthesis investigation) before making your own.
Simulated experiment of wave phenomena.
Complete one of the available STEM Case studies. Include artifacts showing you have completed the study, and a couple of paragraph describing the the benefits of using case studies in teaching science. ( go-el.com/join, enter QKJTMT )
