Welcome students!
This is your Inquiry Guide for Daylight Saving Time (DST). This will allow you to understand what DST is, why it exists, the pros and cons of DST and how it impacts people. You will be able to access books, articles, videos and scientific studies that will allow you to gather facts and answer questions that will help you better understand the influence DST has on our daily lives. This guide will also help you to organize and assess the information you gather, leading you to develop a thoughtful, descriptive research question.
Parents and Teachers: The goal of this Inquiry Guide is to help students learn about DST from reliable, factually based sources. They will gather accurate information, be exposed to research that reflects differing opinions on the subject, understand why and how to cite sources, take notes and formulate questions they have relating to the subject.
STUDENTS: If at any time you follow a link and the site you are taken to asks for a username and password, please enter your AEA log-in information. If you are unsure of this information, please check with your teacher or your TL.
