Mobilities

Keep Learning

ITALY

UK:

Volleyball

We learnt a new sport - Volleyball! It was really hard at the start because the other children had played before and were bigger than us.

Food Production

We spent a day in the countryside learning where our food comes from. We went to a farm, a vineyard, and a vegetable farm - they even had bees! The best bit was eating a lunch that was all grown on the farms.

Torino

Our city tour was so much fun. We learnt about the history of the city and its buildings.

UK

UK:

5 Ways to Wellbeing workshop

We held a workshop for our visitors to teach them about the 5 ways. This was planned, created and delivered by the children.

Watford FC

We went to WFC and learnt about the town, the grounds and the team.

Cooking

Each country cooked a traditional meal and then we all sat down together and tried them. We learnt a lot about food from differet countries, and about cooking and being safe in the kitchen.

London

We visited London and learnt a lot about its history. We even saw the Magna Carta at the British Library!

HUNGARY

ROMANIA

UK, Hungary, Lithuania, Italy, Spain

All the mobilities gave us the chance to learn from one another. We shared recipes of traditional healthy food on our common Drive . The pupils of every country created ppt-s with the process of cooking and baking these foods and healthy snacks.

In the UK the pupils prepared some of their traditional dishes and tasted one another's during the dinner time.

During the Romanian virtual mobility the lower secondary students presented in some videos five different Hungarian and Romanian folk dances, which videos are uploaded on the Drive and the participating countries were asked to learn some of these dances. The Italian children welcomed us , during the Italian mobility with one of these dances.

While we were virtually in Lithuania we had the chance to do a virtual walk in the History Museum of Amber, where a Lithuanian guide presented us via Zoom this very unique material which can be found in different forms in the museum in Klaipeda.

In Hungary we were presented different healthy drinks, we shared certain sports games using the common Drive, we were let known the Pécsi Belvárosi Iskola, the multilingual teaching , were also guided virtually in the city of Pecs and Baranya county.

Spain taught us how stamina , religious belief and endurance led millions of people during the history on the roads of the Camino.

The existence of non co educated schools was again a very interesting experience for our children, as they thought that this idea belongs to the past already.

Tolerance, the idea of peace was delivered through the program of creating posters on this topic and presenting them to one another on the corridor of the Alcaste school near Logrono.

ITALY: In these 3 years we learnt a lot from our partners. When virtually in Romania, for example we learnt how each school conceives food and lunch. We also had the privilege to watch and learn traditional dances.

LITHUANIA

UK:

Amber

"It was so interesting to see where amber came from"

"It was quite shocking when we saw the world's largest amber that no one destroyed it"

"It was interesting- how did amber come from trees?"

The most memorable part of this mobility for our children was the talk on Amber. They found it fascinating!

Italy:

We learnt a lot from Lithuania: the properties of amber, the benefits of teas, sports and snacks and cocktails. We also learnt kindness, generosity and a lot from their good hearts.

SPAIN

Italy:

school IDEAS

Spain really inspired us. We learnt a lot as teachers and about how to manage our spaces at school. The Thinking based learning, the digital activities, learning while hiking into the wild.

RUMBA & ART

We learnt the basic steps of Rumba and Flamenco: this was so fun! We also had the chance to draw and so learn from others through the power of Art.
