About Friends of Foster Kids

Macomb County alone, hosts over 900 children in foster care each year. Starting in Macomb County, but now growing to service Oakland County and beyond, Friends of Foster Kids is a 5013c nonprofit working directly with the Department of Health and Human Services using a network of volunteer Angels to fill gaps of need for children removed from homes due to abuse and neglect and placed in temporary housing or shelters. Friends of Foster Kids (FoFK) focuses services and programs on 5C’s: Christmas, Care, College, Careers, and Coalition of Community Commitment.
